THE SHIRT
After wearing the beautiful jerseys by Austrian manufacturer "Tro" (here and here) for a few years, Latvia switched to Puma in 1998 and wore rather unspectacular off-the-peg shirt from then on.
This away jersey from 1998 was only used a couple of times. It is mostly white with a prickled stripe pattern. The collar and sleeves are in two slightly different shades of red with a black and white pattern. The back number and the association crest are flocked on the jersey. This rare shirt comes from the match against Norway, where the Latvians surprisingly won 3-1.
