Matchprepared Marc Rebés 06.09.2018 LAT 🇱🇻: AND 🇦🇩 0-0
I already talked about the UEFA’s “Kit Assistance Scheme” that was established in 2017 and that saved smaller national teams to be equipped with boring Adidas templates in my article about Andorra's 2018 home shirt.
Italian sports brand “Macron” won a tender to supply smaller nations with bespoke football shirts and the result was a range of personalized kits for the countries participating in the scheme.
Andorra’s vibrant blue shirt was supposed to be the away shirt for team, however, the senior team only used it in a match against Georgia, mainly using their white shirt as their away kit, which is a shame in my opinion, since I consider this to be the nicest kit out of the three.
So why are there match details on the shirt stemming from a match against Latvia? Apparently, a set of blue kits was prepared for said match, but at the last minute, they decided to use the white shirt instead. The shirt was intended to be worn by Marc Rebés who in fact did wear my Andorra home shirt.
